Stripe Hype

We are seeing stars over stripes this season, with a wild range of horizontal, vertical, diagonal, chevron, pin, yacht, up-one-side and down-the-other styles!  Here's a look at new Kick It stripes in-store now and in-coming next week:
100% Cotton Timing sweater, $32.  We have this top in tan-on-black too!
Cute, relaxed dolman sleeve with cuff.
Rust and royal!  We just ordered this new color.
Simple, blue striped color blocks take a basic brown sweater from boring to soaring!
Cotton-rayon blend Timing "rugby" top, $34.  Also coming in a gorgeous purply-taupe-plum mix.
Cute navy blue elbows!
Our fave! Soft cotton mixed-stripe YA-L.A. boatneck tunic with rouching.
The perfect longish top to wear over jeggings
Read between the lines: stripes are peppy!
The black and white stripe version simply vibrates!
100% Cotton Timing knit sweater, perfect for back to school.  Shown here in red & grey, $36.
Notice how the striped design slims her waist, amazing!
So elegant in black and sand, perfect for back to work, $36!
TREND ALERT: Blazers!!!! Unstructured cotton-rayon relaxed fit blazer are huge for Fall!
This jacket adds a peppery zip to any basic outfit.
Also coming in white with stripe.  Picture this with red skinny jeans!
Elegant, all cotton knit 3/4 sleeve vertical stripe deep-V neck sweater by Lumiere, $48.
Loving these vertical lines. A clean white denim is the perfect muse.
You'll notice that our featured striped tops above are each paired with solid, slim fitting pants to let the top *pop* while slimming the body.  Look in your closet for any solid color, slim fitting dress, pencil skirt or skinny pants to pair with a bold striped top, cardigan or blazer for a super sassy look this season.

Oh I love these tops, they are so cute and feel "fun". Yet, I don't tend to buy stripes. This blog story makes me want to try some of the mixed-up stripes and colors with skinny jeans. Thanks for this blog!
