FROM THE ARCHIVES: Fabulous Fashion Friday~Fall Brights & Print Inspirations

Fall fashion is filled with bright, saturated colors and myriad wild and whimsical prints to delight you!  Today we're featuring three looks that mix bright colors with unique prints and boots (of course, it's Fall, Boot Season is arrived!!)

Color Story: Yellow paired with Indigo and Taupe.
Featured Print: Crackled Paint

We built this look around a bright mango yellow hi-lo hem sweater (C&C $36), draped over wide-leg "crackled paint" print taupe trousers (Timing, $34) and finished with an Indigo-blue cotton scarf (Look By-M, $18.50) and taupe wedge boots (Me Too, $146)

Although there is no yellow in the printed pant, our eye "sees" dots of yellow!

The muted blue scarf perfectly complements the yellow. 
Notice the pant appears to have flecks of blue!

For dazzle, we chose these navy-blue Lapis Lazuli stone drop earrings ($49) by local jewelry artist  Frankie Says. Gold jewelry works perfectly with yellows and blues.

Color Story: Peri-Blue and Black.
Featured Print: Rivulets of Rain

This color story is all about emotion.  We love our moody-black in Seattle and to brighten it up we chose this hand-dyed hi-low hem skirt (UrbanX, $42) with Periwinkle Blue "bamboo" print, a Peri-Blue Tee (Survival U.K., $26), an AB matte-black bomber hoodie ($32) and black Troopa Boots by Steve Madden ($98). Entire look: $198!

This unique tie-dye print reminds us of rivulets of rain. 

Bright, fine-silver hammered jewelry (ShayD Design) really
sparkles against the cool-blue top.

We love that the long skirt hits just above the ankle to reveal the boots!

Color story: Navy and Ivory with Notes of Caramel.
Featured Print: Tribal Tapestry

Aztec-inspired prints are one of the most exciting trends this season.  Here, we're showing our new surplice wrap dress (Gilli, $36) with creamy white accessories and caramel leather boots (Luxury Rebel, $196). 

We adore Fall's  "just-above-the-knee" hemlines.

Add a cardi (TresFemme, $28)  and this colorful party look is perfect for the office, too!

We picked up the touch of Fuchsia in the dress with this elegant Chalcedony gemstone & sterling silver design by local artist, Mrs. Robinson's Affair ($92 for the set).
