Fabulous Fashion Friday: Magic, Angles & Drama

Today, our fashion focus is giant cowel necks and two-tone tunics over jeans with boots--finished with Boho-chic handmade jewelry by famed Seattle jewelry designer, ShayD Design.  Check out three versions of this Kick It favorite essential winter look.

#1 Black Magic
Nothing feels more right on a cold, dark winter morning than a soft, billowing Jet Black cowelneck over skinny jeans and heavy boots.  Here, we paired an amazing hybrid-cowelneck-hoodie by Buddhaful with burnished skinny jeans and The Brooklyn Boot by Luxury Rebel. The look is finished with a flash of winter red jewelry, by ShayD Design, borrowed from the "jewelry cave" (Ponytail Jewelry Studio) next door.
Clean lines, bold shapes and thick fabrics make this the perfect winter look for day or night.
The design of this top is amazing: Extra-long billowy sleeves taper down to become arm and hand warmers, while the huge draping cowelneck converts to a hoodie. The long body of this tunic style both covers and  flatters. Brilliant!
Like Winter berries on a Beauty Bush, this red Howlite points & natural brass necklace set adds a bright flash of color.  Available at Ponytail Jewelry Studio,  $72 set .
These chunky, strappy 3/4 tall boots by Luxury Rebel ($239) show off the leg and help counter-balance the big draping top.

#2 Angle Bisector Theorem

According to Wikipedia, Angle Bisector Theorem purports that the relative
lengths of the two segments of a triangle's side, when divided by a line that bisects the opposite angle will equate to their relative lengths of the other two sides of the triangle.  In other words: triangles are cool.  We especially love the bisecting angles of this new cotton cowelneck colorblock beauty by H & D ($32):
What a lovely, earthy color mix.  The angles and lines add interest while the long body gives coverage, sweet!
We chose a stone slab extra-long pedant--with matching earrings, by ShayD Design-- to lay over the drapey cowel. This helps draw the eye down and connect the jagged shapes of the print.
Close up of this gorgeous "Snakeskin Jasper" stone slab earring, $36.
Oooh!  This fabulous , cotton-rayon top is available in two colors!
Who knew colliding triangles could look so good!
#3 DuoTone Drama
We're excited to introduce "DuoTone":  a new spin on color blocking where two abstract shapes in dual colors intersect to create a new sense of geometry on the body.  We picked this amazing tunic-style version in slate-meets-black, by Nymphe ($48), and paired it with an equally dazzling raw crystal points necklace (see below)  Wow, that's dramatic!

Bold Shapes in black powerize, while contrasting vertical grey lines slenderize.
Notice how the contrast trim on the deep-V neckline makes a perfect frame for this incredible Mystical Titanium Quartz statement necklace, by ShayD Design, $56, available at Ponytail Jewelry Studio.
O.M.G., here's a closeup of this crystal necklace stunner! We love the way the dimensional points complement the sharp V's and right angles of the DuoTone top.

Hey Hey ShayD~you look amazing and your jewelry is to die for, too!!!
