From the Archives: Fabulous Fashion Friday-March 11: Nouveau Vintage

Bonjour, Darlings. I'm Antoinette, lover of unique styling,  artful color blends, and showing women how they can not only look wonderful, but feel wonderful. I'm the new stylist at Kick It and I'll be helping Imogene with style posts for our Fabulous Fashion Fridays! I hope to express to you my own fashion insight and style, purely for your "Façonner l'Amusement".

*****

I'm falling in love with the nouveau vintage look this spring with elegant and distinguished crochet lace adorning our shirts. I've put together three looks that I think you will love, the perfect example of how adding a vintage touch can really make a casual outfit take flight.

Today, our lovely Kick It Girl looks picturesque in our grape tunic dress. Paired with Level 99 straight leg jeans and these organic vegan wedges, this blouse lends a vintage twist to a modern look, but would also look graceful with a pair of textured tights.

To lend a pop of color to the outfit while still feeding that vintage feel,
I added one of these springtime "ditsy floral" scarves:

I cuffed her jeans for an edgy London look.

For our second look, I chose this beautifully detailed crochet lace tunic. The cut of this blouse is wonderfully flattering, and wait until you see the back of this top...

Notice the pattern decorating her shoulders.

Wow. I love the way the creme tank top peaks through the elegant lace back.

Then I wrapped a scarf shawl-style to brighten up the neutral hue of the top.
Look how the scarf's colors bring out her beautiful eyes!

Lastly, notice how feminine and care free this light grey tunic with
antiqued lace looks with and without a pink floral scarf.

Feel as darling as you look this spring and enjoy the sunshine!

Vous êtes beau!
Antoinette

I love these looks with the jeans. As a mom of a young child who loves to be outdoors, jeans (and leggings) simply make sense. I need to stop by Kick It soooon.
