Fabulous Fashion Friday: Sunshine, Sky & Summer Colors

This full week of 80 Degree sunshine in Seattle is making us giddy, so we put together a colorful look and headed to the Ship Yards to shoot in this glorious light. Today, we went simple: ultra soft YA Los Angeles teeshirts in Mint and Coral~~two of Summer's hottest colors~~paired with chambray skinny jeans. We embellished this "jeans-n-tees" classic look with three key accessories: gemstone jewelry, strappy gladiator sandals and the quintessential crossbody bag for a "let's get outdoors" easy weekend look. Enjoy!

Make Mine Mint
We started with ultra-lightwash Vigoss "chambray" skinny jeans ($56), a butter-yellow cotton cami ($12)  and Nicole multi-pink gladiator sandals ($48)...then finished with a mint V-neck tee by YA Los Angeles ($16) and gemstone jewelry by Frankie Says Seattle.
Frankie Says gemstone jewelry in shades of aqua and mint adds pizazz to this basic look.
Shown Above: Sterling silver "tree branch" pendant, $68; Two-tier hoops earrings, $46.
Find all of Frankie Says' New Summer collection at Ponytail Jewelry Studio.
Vigoss Chambray denim for summer has both stretch and sass!
Nicole summer strappy sandals in multi-pinks ($48) are like jewelry for the feet!  And yes, mint toes are a must for this look!
These colors go beautifully with the deep blue water and Aqua-blue sky.
Notice the little pop of yellow to match the sunshine :-)

Color Me Coral
We swapped out the Mint Tee for Bright Coral.  The Aqua jewelry and soft-wash blue jeans work perfectly with this color combo, too.
Wow, she's a beauty (and the model is gorgeous, too!)
This colorful, relaxed look is perfect while waiting for your ship to come in.
We added one of our new Shalimar multi-color cross body bags ($42) to really pump up this color story.  We love how the butter yellow purse straps pick up the soft yellow cammie.
Ready to board ship. I hope she's got her passport in that bag!
Summertime fun in the sun, here we come!

Happy Sunny Friday, Kick It!
