From the Archives: Fabulous Fashion Friday, December 9th: Pretty Prints

Winter fashion lends itself to having so many  gorgeous and fun dresses. All the ruffles, details, and ribbons are fabulous, but my favorite thing about Winter fashion is that it showcases extraordinary and eye-catching prints. Here are a few of my favorites:

#1- Contrast Print:
The first print is a gorgeous, edgy contrast print. The vertical lines in this pattern are extra flattering and eye catching. Worn with sleek black Nicole Wedges, it's perfect for a dinner party.
I love the "ebb and flow" of this pattern.

The drape of the sleeves adds an elegant detail, dressing it up for a fancy get-together.

A close-up shows the print's "tie-dye like" detail. A beautiful white moss agate necklace by Frankie Says helps pop the white of the dress!
All eyes on you as you walk in the door!

#2- Cheery Holiday Print:
This next dress is so cute and perfect for the Holidays. The dress itself is full of beautiful drapes and ruffles, but the print adds a lot of cheer, making it perfect for a Christmas brunch. I added a little sweater over-top for extra warmth and Voila!

The sleeves of the little coat have ruffles on them as well, balancing well with the front of the dress. Even the back hemline on the coat is a ruffle! Love it!
I'm in love with the hemline down the back.
A close up of this print shows how cute and cheery it is.

The coral & navy blue color combo is so quaint!

#3- The Ultimate Winter Print:
Last but not least, I had to showcase a little bit of tribal print. This print is the perfect mix between the ever-so-popular "ethnic print" and "fair-isle". The black and white color combination also mixes in well with the neutral color tone trends of winter. It's perfect for any winter day!

Casual, yet still very eye-catching!
From the side, you can see how the dress ties in front and on the sleeves. Super cute!
Gorgeous Dress, Gorgeous Boots!

So there you have it, wonderful dresses for the holiday season with beautiful prints. Because underneath all the coats, scarves, and sweaters, a girl deserves to dress up!

Vous ĂȘtes beau!
