FROM THE ARCHIVES 2011~Fabulous Fashion Friday, Oct. 14th: Fuzzy Hoodies & Chunky Beads

The wind whipped up and the temps dropped this week beckoning in sweater weather.  And in Seattle, no cold-weather sweater is complete without a hood!  So today, I styled two super easy looks starting with two of our new Elan hooded sweaters, bootcut jeans and chunky beads.

Look #1: Browns and Golds
A gorgeous gold glass necklace from Austria sets off this drapey cozy hooded sweater by Elan ($52). So easy, just pair them with your favorite jeans and boots. 

Love the bell sleeves and long, loose body of this sweater.

Look #2: Silver and Aqua
Next, I've layered a long chunky aquamarine & opal gemstone necklace by Bellatrix ($89, courtesy of Ponytail Jewelry Studio) over a wool-blend wrap sweater with hood for a wintery warm look.

Nice and long to cover the rear, too.

This two-strand beauty includes dozens of fused fine silver loops to complement the silver yarn in the sweater.  It also adds color and dimension to an otherwise plain top.

It's amazing how functional a hooded sweater can be, and paired with a stunning long chunky necklace, how fabulous it can look too.
