Fabulous Fashion Friday: The Transitional Tunic

Rain-Rain, Go Away, Find a Desert Far Away!

It's a challenge to feel peppy & pretty in Seattle as Winter drags on. But we found a solution in Korea to help lift your spirits now as we wait for sunny skies and warmer days. We call it: The Transitional Tunic. You likely have all the ingredients in your closet now to put this look together.  Start with your favorite boots, any pair of leggings or tights or skinny pants, then feature a bold print tunic or mini-dress and you're done!  Check out this easy-meets-edgy look from one of our favorite Korean Fever* suppliers, Shampoo Apparel.

A long sleeve all-over-flower print tunic is fierce & fun.  We love the all-black accessories and boots to "frame" the top.

Here's an Ivory version of the same tunic.  Any simple A-Line mini dress would work, too.
We love this long-body Cheetah-print tunic with contrasting long sleeves. It looks so carefree over light blue jeans and suede boots
Switch it up with an all-black version of this look for an evening at the Theatre.
Editor's Choice!!! We crave every piece in this Super Fresh look: the leather  saddle bag (with matching iPhone carrier), the cropped denim jacket, the coral skinny jeans and the star of the show: the Mint Striped Tunic.  This entire look just screams, "오 해피 데이 " (translation: "Oh Happy Day")!
This striped mini-dress in black works day or night.  All three color choices will transition easily to Spring and, paired with strappy sandals and a long-Boho necklace, well into Summer too!
Split leather leggings tucked into taupe suede booties are the perfect "trunk" for a nubby, boxy  sweater.  Notice the shot of sunshine adding the best accessory of all: warmth!
Hi-Lo Hems provide great coverage if your leggings are super clinging!
Swirling animal stripes captivate while these platform boots elevate!
These seemingly unfitted tunic tops~~when put over skinny jeans~~prove to be super flattering.
Look at this terrific trio of texture: plaid flannel shirt with sewn-in cable knit sleeves and quilted leather hand bag.  This amazing tunic top rocks, and the coffee with ripped jeans make this look soooo Seattle.
Another color option.  Note the cuteness  with or without the belt. .
We love how the taupe suede booties pick up the taupe flowers in this A-line tunic.  The 3/4 sleeves  beg the wearer to add bracelets.
All-over print tunics look amazing coming or going!  Add some leather gloves & a studded hobo bag if you really mean business :-)
