From the Archives: Fabulous Fashion Friday-May 20th: Darlin' Dress

Hello Ladies! Dresses are fun all of the time, but especially now that summer is starting to say hello to Seattle. I've found, though, that whenever I wear a dress, I feel the need to dress it up by accessorizing with a scarf or cardigan when all I've wanted is a dress that makes a statement all by itself. This week I've finally found the dress that stands alone beautifully!

This unique grey and periwinkle dress by Raffine ($68) can be worn as a funky and fun casual dress for a sunny day out, but if you're feeling a bit more fancy, the dress has a trick up it's sleeve.

If you pull the draw string, the sleeves transform from a tank top sleeve to an elegant shawl.

With a pair of heals and an up-do, this dress would be ready to dazzle.

And see how the shawl drapes gracefully around the back.

A gorgeous pair of handmade vintage estate style earrings by Parisienne Girl ($19, borrowed from Ponytail Jewelry) went perfectly with this dress. The earring called "Blue roses" matched the periwinkle roses on the dress.

On top of all that, Guess what! This dress also comes in "Sweet Strawberry Creme" if you really want to bring out the girly girl.  How Darling!

So, for a fun day or a fanciful night, if you're looking for a lovely dress that speaks for itself, this dress is the one for you.

 Vous ĂȘtes beau!
