From the Archives: Fabulous Fashion Friday--March 4: Feminine Elegance & Jeans

 Happy Friday!!  For our fabulous look today,  we started with a lovely Mureno vanilla cream butterfly-wing tunic trimmed in crochet lace ($39) over a pair of dark wash rolled up denim with Kenneth Cole pewter caged heels ($79.50). We accented the outfit with chunky gemstone earrings and necklace by local designer Frankie Says ($102 for the set) and loved the feminine result.

We then added a gorgeous multi-fabric scarf that features tiny silk rosettes, ribbon fringe, rough nubbed lace and sheer chiffon in champagne to gently complement the ivory top.

 And finally, we could not resist topping this look off with a natural fiber Spectator hat with feathers ($42).

 

CLOSE-UP: Feathered Spectator hat has a built-in headband for a secure fit that gives the impression of a floating halo. 

Here's the look with the same scarf (in mushroom-grey) worn more as a wrap. 

 

And finished with a triple layered Spectator hat with bows and feathers.  I love the way the mesh hat shades the model's eyes, so elegant with a subtle feminine allure!
