From the Archives: Fab Fashion Friday-Feb. 25: Striped Shear Delights

For a quick and cute weekend look, we topped our favorite basic-black tee and bootcut jeans with one simple shear knit in soft colors and fun stripes. We tried three version of this easy trend to give that basic winter outfit a little "kick" of Spring.

Look #1: Vertical striped asymmetrical flyaway cardi.

Look #2: Simple sleeveless light-weight knit vest in "champagne" with fishtail hem & belt.

The "stripe" is the pattern in the knit, subtle and sweet.

Look #3: A pullover striped hoodie in sheer ramie-cotton knit, oatmeal on taupe.

Darling 3/4 sleeves give a touch of coverage and a touch of skin.

The deep plungy neckline is the perfect frame for a bold gemstone necklace by Frankie Says.
