Fabulous Fashion Friday: Summer's Soothing Solids

As the warm, gentle days of Summer roll on, everything feels more relaxed. It makes us crave more laid-back looks with distinctive style. To satisfy this need, we put together three looks focused on soothing solid colors, paired with a singular set of one-of-a-kind "expression" jewelry.  Our goal? Total Tranquility.....

Breezy Slate Blue
This relaxed-fit slate blue micro modal tunic by T-Party ($36) is hand dyed to create a whispy watercolor look.  We put it over the simplest underpinnings (white cotton cammie, light-grey lace-trimmed capri leggings,  $12 each) and added blue gemstone jewelry from Frankie Says' new summer collection, to create restful beauty.
The deep V, fluttering cap sleeves, long-n-loose hemline is so easy, breezy.
We love the irregular, artsy dip-dye effects on this top. The contrasting trim on the v-neck frames the blue gemstone necklace (with matching earrings) by Frankie Says.  This extraordinary, handcrafted set~featuring London Blue Topaz~ is available at our sister shop, Ponytail Jewelry Studio, for about $120.
The ease of this look frees us up to contemplate the world inside a seashell.

Bright-n-Easy Minty Green
Here's the same gloriously soft micro-modal tunic in Mint.
Summer is the perfect time to mail your best friend a Sand Dollar.

Gentle Navy Gaze
We relish the calming, grounded nature of Navy.  It is the most soothing and slimming solid color that goes with everything.  Here, we're showing our best selling Summer jersey dress by Gilli ($34) with knee-length skirt and cut-out back. Just slip it on, and relax.
The lace leggings add a casual Summery feel.
Navy for summer looks great with creamy whites, like this cotton chambray scarf by Vivienetto ($22).
No caption needed here, this picture speaks a 1,000 words.

Choose a soothing solid dress with simple expression jewelry for an easy, breezy, tranquil Summer weekend.  Kick It's got dozens of these soothing beauties~including maxi dresses~now in store.

Thanks for sharing these fashion ideas. But the necklace really captured my attention. It is pretty and seems to bring elegance to its wearer. I wish you’ve included a bigger picture of it so I could take a closer look.
